The Parks Province

New Opportunities, Meaningful Connections

Park it Here

As our story unfolds, our core initiatives continue to shape our growth. Our second phase of development, named the Parks Province, celebrates our natural landscape, from untouched preserve wetlands, to parklands that blur the lines between the natural and created landscape, and the Babcock Trail streetscape that links residents to neighborhood conveniences and our one-of-a-kind 3.5 mile linear park amenity. With more homes to choose from, more neighborhoods to love, and more options to play, work, explore, shop, and dine, the Parks Province ushers in a new era of happier, healthier living at Babcock Ranch.

Bluebird Park

At the northern trail head of Curry Creek Park you’ll find Bluebird Park, a neighborhood hangout designed for people (and birds, and butterflies). Planned amenities include an active adult-oriented fitness zone, a play area for little ones, a native pollinator garden, an adventurous play zone for big kids, and a shaded picnic pavilion. There’s so much to do…or not do. Slow down and recharge in peaceful pockets of the park. Relax in the shade grove or head to the main lawn for an impromptu yoga session in the park. However you love to spend time outside, you can do it at Bluebird Park.

Cypress Park North

Surrounded by tree canopy and native landscaping, an expansive 2-acre fishing pond shines at the center of Cypress Park North. This isn’t your old-fashioned fishing hole. Stocked with bass and smaller fish, the pond is equipped with a fishing pier, plenty of waterfront seating, and multiple water access points for non-motorized boats, kayaks, and more. For land lovers there’s also picturesque picnic areas, a waterfront event lawn, and a circular trail that surrounds the lake. Cypress Park North offers all the fun of a lakeside vacation without ever leaving the neighborhood.

Have You Ever Seen A Park Within a Park?

Introducing Curry Creek Park: your new Saturday morning cycling spot, the best place to throw a birthday party, and where four-legged friends (big and small) have their own place to run free. Spanning a combined 50 acres, this massive linear park is made up of five distinct parks interconnected by our trail system. Planned amenities include themed play spaces, picnic lawns, fitness areas, native plant trails, a discovery garden, fishing pond with a looping trail, flexible lawns for informal sports and recreation, and larger event lawns for community-wide events and festivals that will connect residents of all ages and welcome regional visitors. Designed with sustainability in mind, Curry Creek Park reflects our sensitivity to local ecologies — from native plant communities and wildlife to existing and proposed hydrologic networks — and emphasizes an appreciation for the surrounding landscape. Explore each of the five parks and get excited for this incredible amenity.

Green Marks the Spot
