Home Quest event unveils new neighborhoods & a chance to win an adventure travel experience!

Adventurers, nature lovers and homebuyers will discover even more to adore at Babcock Ranch, including a chance to win a $10,000 vacation, during the grand opening celebration of MidTown this fall. During Home Quest on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests are invited to channel their inner world traveler and explorer while wandering scenic nature trails and enjoying trolley tours of the town’s newest collection of fully furnished model homes across six new neighborhoods.

“MidTown celebrates Babcock Ranch’s spirit of adventure, its authentic sense of community, and the unique opportunities to connect with the natural landscape and each other,” said Syd Kitson, chairman and CEO of town developer Kitson & Partners. “Guests attending Home Quest will enjoy an immersive experience reflecting the fun-filled lifestyles our residents enjoy every day.”

Nestled along shimmering lakes, nature preserves, expansive green spaces and the live-work-play campus of a future town center with a village green, MidTown is the newest village under development at Babcock Ranch, America’s first solar-powered hometown. In addition to the six new neighborhoods, future plans for the village will feature an abundance of outdoor recreation, including the Curry Creek linear trail that will eventually span 3.5 miles interconnecting six new parks. Meandering trails hugging wetlands and water will offer playgrounds play fields and event lawns for community gatherings. The first in the series of parks is scheduled for completion in early 2024, with the remaining parks completed by mid-2025.

One of the future parks, Explorers Park, will serve as the hub for Home Quest. Activities in Explorers Park will include live music and food trucks serving cuisine echoing the family-friendly event’s international flavor, kids’ activities, and registration for the all-expenses-paid grand travel prize, valued at $10,000, awaiting one lucky winner.

Minibusses will whisk visitors from event parking in the open lot next to WellWay in Founder’s Square to the Home Quest check-in at Explorers Park.

After completing registration, sightseers will receive a QR code that will serve as their digital passport, as they tour an array of model homes throughout Babcock Ranch. Accessible by our hop-on and hop-off trolleys, models in MidTown’s six newly opened neighborhoods offer a glimpse inside Southwest Florida’s newest lifestyle and highlight the boundless opportunities for buyers to complete the final leg of their homebuying journey. Several models located in the West Town area of Babcock Ranch will also be available for self-guided tours.

National and regional homebuilders will roll out the red carpet, inviting exploration of single-family homes, twin villas, and townhomes showcasing exciting architecture, unique design, the latest amenities, and the infinite reasons Babcock Ranch is the nation’s fifth top-selling community for 2022.

Located along Babcock Trail across from Explorers Park, idyllic neighborhoods by Christopher Alan Homes, D.R. Horton, Meritage Homes, Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, and William Ryan Homes include private amenities, low maintenance homebuying opportunities and the town’s first community for active adults 55 and over. Homesites overlook lakes, wetlands, preserves, and landscaped areas and are just a quick stroll to MidTown’s many future outdoor destinations and the village center. Trails connect to Babcock Ranch’s extensive network, leading to resident amenities, Babcock Schools, and the restaurants, events and favorite gathering spots in the Founder’s Square downtown district.

At Explorers Park, tents offer travel-themed oases featuring lounges, live entertainment and more. The adventure tent introduces guests to Babcock Ranch’s natural beauty with presentations by town environmental expert Christina Kontos and prime sightseeing for self-guided nature walks.

The Little Explorers play area inspires childhood curiosity and creativity with crafts, face painting, and a bounce house while challenging young trailblazers – and adults, too – to scale a rock wall.

Home Quest visitors will also discover a world of flavors with culinary stops in Asia, France, Mexico and America via food trucks as well as informational booths showcasing established and on-the-horizon neighborhoods. Created by the region’s top builders, the future enclaves embrace pioneering new lifestyles including a neighborhood by Lennar replete with a winding lazy river, a luau beach, and a ship housing a family-friendly tavern. Lennar is also unveiling plans for a luxury residential golf neighborhood and a lakefront neighborhood of three-bedroom coach homes. Adventures in homebuying will also highlight the new resort-lifestyle neighborhood by DiVosta with amenities rivaling favorite boutique travel destinations, as well as townhomes by Park Square Homes that are only a five-minute walk from Founder’s Square.
