BABCOCK RANCH, Fla. (Nov. 26, 2019) – Come celebrate the start of the holiday season at Babcock Ranch’s third annual Tree Lighting Event in Founder’s Square Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Southwest Florida’s unique eco-centric, solar-powered town just northeast of Fort Myers on Babcock Ranch Road/State Road 31.
NBC2 News anchor Lisa Spooner will emcee the festivities, including the Babcock Ranch tree lighting ceremony at Founder’s Square. The family-friendly evening will feature electric train rides, face painting, balloon artists and holiday performances by Babcock Neighborhood Schools Kindergarten through third grade classes and the Alva School Band and Chorus.
Santa Claus will be making a stop at Babcock Ranch arrive via horse-drawn sleigh and posing for photos. Festive food and drink specials will also be available.
